Didn't want to forget about the gang - stomping down the stairs after their treats were all gone!
More rain is forecasted for today and tomorrow...... (sigh)
Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
Don't eat the mushrooms!
ReplyDeleteThey get smunched and thrown away after I take a pic of them - don't want the gang near them!
DeleteMy aunt (who lived on a farm for years) used to go out and pick mushrooms and fry them up with butter. Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteWish I knew which ones were safe to eat, since I don't - I have to buy them. Fresh mushrooms fried in butter and garlic - mmmmmm! Or stuffed, which are even better!
DeleteLove mushrooms but don't trust my knowledge of what is safe so like you I have to buy them :))
ReplyDeleteThere are growing kits that can be bought from the garden magazines - was thinking of trying one.
DeleteFresh mushrooms- yummy!
