There is peace in Coopville.
Oscar checks in on Nina often, but leaves her alone most of the day. So do I. She sure ain't much fun to be around lately. Since she refuses to come out, I put a small dish of food in the coop for her. And there is always fresh water, too.
Frisky Oscar still plays cowboy with Lucy and Ethel, though. The bald spots on their heads are getting bigger, but the little hussies don't seem to mind too much.
My early mornings are filled with Oscar crowing and Lucy and Evil One cackling. Don't know why - their nest box is empty again. I hope we don't have go to town just to get eggs.
How embarrassing.....
Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
