On the bright side, the buds are getting ready to pop on the peonies!
It was so hot and humid before the thunderstorms rolled in. I made little puddles for the girls to cool off in. Stupid birds were drinking the muddy water - there was fresh, cold, clean water in the pen.
Will never, ever figure them out.......
(and yes, Charlie is starting to molt - his pretty feathers are all over the place).
Hahahaha! Isn't it just like chickens to prefer tasty muddy water to clean?

DeleteWhat can you expect ...they're bird brains lol....lve peonies....my white ones are about done blooming, and my pink ones are in their glory right now :)))
ReplyDeleteWould love to have white ones - on the side of the house they are all pink - the ones that the deer didn't get, that is!
