  3. What's the 'Grand Old Opry', CM? As a Canadian kid up here in Alberta, for us it was a TV show that came on before Walt Disney for country music that sounded just like that...

  4. Glen, Canadian Hank Snow made his first appearance on the Opry January 7, 1950. There is even a stamp. http://canadianstampnews.com/otd-hank-snow-debuts-grand-ole-opry/
    He did a lot of train songs, including Wreck of the Ol 97.
