A smushed squirrel was ...

.... right in front of our mailbox and that bought some of my favorite visitors on Monday:

They landed on the roof of our neighbor's house because

... there was some nut running around with a camera getting in their way!!

I've never seen so many at one time.

This is just some of them:

There were three different groups flying in circles. All you could hear was a swooshing sound when they flapped their wings!

Even the crows stayed away!

And there wasn't even a tuft of fur left....
