It's such a tiny little egg though!
I hope I can find two young hens at the show. With that horrible avian flu decimating the flocks in the Mid-West the cost of chicken and eggs have skyrocketed. It just breaks my heart to see all the birds that have to be destroyed. Millions and millions of them. The CDC said it was probably caused by wild ducks carrying the virus. The scary part of it all is that backyard flocks can get it too.
Have been busy getting the pen and new gate ready for the new lucky ladies. Will post pics when we are finished with the project.
I'm on a cloud kick - sorry 'bout that!
