..... yesterday! The weather has turned very, very warm and a lot of the Spring flowers have bloomed!
It was a good time to get rid all of the plastic away from the coop and the pen. I'll be able to see what they are doing from the kitchen window.
Now the gang can see the whole yard. The only bad thing is that when it rains and if the wind is blowing, the pen WILL get wet. And muddy.
A beautiful moonrise last night....
Hubby planted some more grass seed and I scattered about 20 packets of wild flowers all over. Even if just half of them take it will be pretty around here again. :o)
There is NOTHING like Spring after a long, cold Winter.

ReplyDeleteIt's a heck of a lot better than when we came here, that's for sure. Some of the homes nearby are just beautiful! (and landscaped to the nines). BUT, the poor souls, don't have chickens... :o)
