What the heck happened to April?


 Wind!!


 Snow!


 Sleet!


 Branches blown off the trees and stuck in the ground!







It was windy ALL day!




My dinky little flowers did survive, though:





I let Charlie and the girls out for a bit, but they ran back to the pen.
 It was just too blustery even for them.



We lost power for a few hours. Hubby turned the generator on so we were not inconvenienced at all.

    You are getting the weather that roared through here Friday night. The sound of that wind sent me running for my long, warm robe and fuzzy slippers! Brrrrr.

      Tried looking this morning, Gorges - but the bushes were covered with snow! :o)

    LOL Brings back old memories. Welcome to Kansas during tornado session (called spring in other places). I heard the wind and said there is a storm a brewin'. Do you know where the chickens are at, so you can duck-n-cover when the wind abruptly stops? Boy, am I glad I live in the Phoenix Metro Area now!

      I saw a small tornado once and I never want to see one again! Don't know how people deal with them. Very scary!
