The Ending of Charlotte's Web Was Much Sadder Than We
Thought!
Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
?? Don't see anything here...
ReplyDeleteBut we had a 'Charlotte' who built her web just outside my computer room, and her children, grandchildren... for 10+ years, then one year no more Charlotte's children.
These are those beautiful golden-orb weavers we were fascinated with as children. I remember being able to gently coax them onto my hand. I wouldn't do that now (they will bite, if provoked), but I am still fascinated by them.
Wish one of Charlotte's progeny would come build a web so we could watch...

Sorry - see if it shows up now! I like the webs - just not the critters that make them. They are interesting to watch ,though! (from a distance)!
