Huge egg

Shirley has been laying huge eggs lately! This one was almost 3" long - Ouch!

     Yesterday, when I let them out in the morning, she kept squatting instead of eating....

 This is why: she plopped out an egg right in the pen! Laverne came over to see if it was broken.
It wasn't, so they didn't get to eat it!

You can tell by the top of Laverne's bare head that Charlie is very fond of her right now. She is so annoyed that she stopped laying eggs for the time being.

Maybe just two more hens - only two more.........
