Just wandering the webz and saw these. Found them interesting. Who were the lucky ones to get inside and who were they supposed to keep out? I bet if we knew, it would make for some really good stories!

ReplyDeleteYou are right, Gorges - they are works of art. Can you imagine the time it took the blacksmiths to make those grills and chains? It must have been really something to see them being put in place. Just the mechanics of it all is amazing!
