Laramie - Union Pacific 2-8-0 #535 was built as a coal burner by Burnham, Williams & Co. in 1903 for the Oregon Short Line RR as #975. In 1915 it was renumbered #535, leased to the UP in 1936 (as UP #535) and became UP #6535 in 1957. It was donated to the City of Laramie in 1959. (81K 768x512 jpg)
The sign on the cab lists these specifications about the locomotive:
