Early Morning....

Early morning silence is broken by Goldie and Charlie. Goldie starts first and then Charlie chimes in.
Then Lucy and Ethel start. I wake up with the racket and look at the clock.

 Guess what time it is?

Goldie sounds like a freight train; Charlie squawks just like a rooster in a cartoon. You would think Ethel and Lucy were being stuck with pins.

I cannot fall back to sleep.

It's gonna be a loooong day. Again.
