The temperature had been 95 degrees the other day when a rain shower came through.
A beautiful fog drifted up when the sun came out again.
It didn't last long, but it sure was pretty!.
Then this bloomed!
Starting to see a few leaves turning color already.
Maybe we'll get an early Fall .....

I hope we DO have an early fall, but a LATE (and short) winter!

DeleteMany years ago I had a cabin by a lake. Mornings would find that kind of fog on the lake. I always thought it looked sort of magical.

DeleteRain at last! Need to look up that song, (Can't remember the title or the singer) that sang, "The day that the rain came down, la-la-la, etc...Love, sweet love..." Oh, never mind. That bloom looks like hibiscus to me.

DeleteWe have Bindweed - tiny little white Morning Glory to fight with here in North Central WA. It's seeds pop and spew everywhere, and the creeping vines climb and choke everything growing. GRRR!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite weed is Queen Anne's Lace. If you cut them and put them in colored water, it will turn that color. So pretty!
