That was fun! You live in such a pretty part of the country with the hills. Especially love those big old houses.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice up here! Lots of older homes and buildings in town, but it's expensive to own a home there. A lot of them are for sale.

Nope, none - just the privilege of living here! :o) The drive IS nice, especially in the Fall.

ReplyDeleteWhere I live disabled vets are exempt from property taxes! I didn't even need to die! You DO live in a beautiful place, that's for sure! My best to you and yours....
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mr. Rat! You are lucky! Vets only get a small percentage taken off their tax bill here in Jersey. The land tax is frozen at the current rate when you turn 65, it won't increase, but you have to apply for it. It's not automatic.
