Join me for a pot of freshly perked coffee and biscuits!
This is my view every morning after I let the gang out:
Thanks for stopping by and settin' for a spell!

Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'll take a biscuit, thank you! lol
ReplyDeleteHow about a pot of tea? Got the good stuff!
DeleteI'll take Gorges' coffee. And mine. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice setting. It looks so peaceful there.
It's lovely here in the morning - my favorite time of day!
DeleteThe place is looking like a million bucks you guys.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Glen - Hubby works hard every day!
DeleteJust beautiful , what a nice morning.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love when the sun just comes over the tops of the trees and shines on all the dew!
DeleteI need my coffee...that biscuit looks like a hibiscus to me.
ReplyDeleteAll is so lovely!
The coffee pot is ALWAYS on - and biscuits only in the morning! LOL!
DeleteSome of us might have to visit.
ReplyDeleteWould love to have 'ya all here!
DeleteWhat a lovely view to sit a spell and enjoy...most especially with wonderful company and a good brew!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the same (different view) on my back porch each morning....but in the evenings the mosquitoes are really getting me...I have mosquito bushes all over the porch, and citronella candles and still....do you have any suggestions?
We use a spray brand called "Repel" Permethrin for spraying our clothes and caps. Keeps away the skeeters and ticks - if you have deer around there are going to be tics. Make sure you Check CGD and Lucy before they come in each day. Ticks like to hide around the tops of your boots. Always check yourselves. This might help, too:

Thank you...I will buy Lavender, Marigolds, and Peppermint today...we do keep check on the dogs...and I don't go in the tall grasses..am mainly sitting on the back porch, unless shooting or picking veggies...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestions and link! ; )
Tall grass = snakes. Clear as much land as you can! Pots of lavender on the deck will be lovely!
