Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....

I have....
.... a rotten cold that I just can't shake. Going to curl up with a blankie, a hot toddy and rest. Will be back on Thursday.
When I get a cold I stretch it out as long as possible and use it as an excuse to shirk all my chores. This year I was able to keep the ruse up until I brought up bed-pans...and then my cold was suddenly cured by a rolling pin...
Yup! Enjoying my "pity party"! LOL Only got a dusting of snow, but it is sooo cold out. On days like this I think about not having to get up and take care of chickens!
Enough hot toddy's and you won't care about the cold! lol - I'll bet that girl didn't ask for a second spin around the block!

I did - a couple of 'em! I recall "cleaning the carbon out" on Hubby's 409 back in the 60's. Such fun!
