Aftermath

We didn't get as much snow as the cities. I guess we are too far north and west of them:

That is Sunrise Mountain the the back:

The snow just piled up over the rock wall and around the trees.

This tree does look pretty, though:

Not really a big snow storm for us - this time!

Just want to say"Thank You!" to all that followed yesterday's post and commented!

Chickenmom

    1. It was just beautiful when the sun came up this morning - looked like there were diamonds scattered all over the place! Was recharging the camera, so I couldn't take a pic of it. :o(

  3. It sure is pretty, if you don't have to get out in it! I will continue to admire it from afar with the highs in the mid 60s to mid 70s of Phoenix.

  4. You did a bang up job blogging the storm, and now, the aftermath! Everyone loves the local angle on the national story. Thanks for keeping all of us internet denizens aware that you are a-ok in all that white stuff. We worry, you know

    1. Thanks, CW! It wasn't a big storm for us - had a heck of a lot more last year by this time - but it was fun to do!

  5. Glad the heavy stuff missed you! We'd have rather had snow than the 7.1 quake this morning, but no one offered us a choice, darn it.

    1. I don't blame you one bit, Rev. Paul! Don't think I'd like to experience a big earthquake like that! 'Hope everyone is OK!
