Because the Evil One, Lucy and Oscar have attacked the babies they have to be removed from the chick hutch. I drag out the old plastic storage tub. The heat lamp, shavings and the baby chick waterer are all set up in laundry room until they are bigger and stronger. Will worry about what to do when they are. Not now. Later.
The little fluff balls are carried into the house. Nina is frantic and going nuts. I let her out of the hutch and she is running around looking for her babies. The others probably think she is crazy and for once, leave her alone.
I'm a very bad Grandma .....
