  1. I spent a good portion of my childhood snapping beans, picking blueberries & gooseberries, wild strawberries, and shucking & removing silk from corn. Milked a few cows back then, too.

    1. Makes me miss my Grandma - she had a farm in New Hampshire. I'll post her pic one of these days! (When I was in HS I won a blue ribbon at the county fair for milking a cow faster than anyone!)

  2. Snapping beans, shelling peas, peeling apples for pies, and listening to the stories told by Grandma. Yep. Need more of that.

    1. It was blueberries for me, Vicki. Grandma had a farm called Blueberry Hill. Whenever I catch the scent of them, I always think of her!
