Found this little egg in the driveway. Looks as if it was taken out of a nest by another bird.
If you look closely, you can see the yoke still inside:

All in for the night. Charlie had to get between them to stop the bickering.
Thelma and Louise are on the right facing the back wall.
Old Charlie is just exhausted at the end of the day!
The all started squawking when the flash on the camera went off!

DeletePretty peonies! (We called the "pineys" when I was growing up.)
ReplyDeleteAren't they pretty, Gorges? Some of the bushes didn't bloom this year though. But the lilacs did. Can't figure that out!
