Lawdy!!!!

I don't know how I did it, but I got some pics to post.  When I connected the camera to the new laptop, a newer version of "Play Memories" by Sony was installed automatically by this damn Windows10. I didn't do anything! It's more confusing than the older version I had - the files are all over the place. This is really gonna take me a while to figure out where all the folders are. BUT....at least they are on the hard drive....

Pictures will be posted as I find them - no special date order until I figure it all out! LOL!

Sunset after the last snowfall:

This is Maude's egg that I posted about the other day:

Our local little airport:

Sorry I haven't been posting much - still awfully tired and frustrated with myself for not being stronger. I have a bad cold and on top of all the rest of the nonsense going on, I burned my hand on the rack getting this out of the oven:

(Yep, it's 5 layers deep)

And here's a funny just in case you've missed 'em:

:o)

  1. Win 10 isn't an operating system, it is malware / virus.

  2. Sometimes I think the frustration happens when we want to be back the way we were - Now - and it just doesn't work that way. Glad you were able to figure out how to post pictures. The cartoon...really funny. :)

    1. Don't think I'll ever get back to where I was Vicki - Just happy I can do what I can! The pics are scattered all over the place - will have to find a way to put them in just one folder.

  3. I don't think I've heard of ANYONE yet that likes 10. I read a while back that in after-market purchases, 7 still outsells it.

    1. I loved the XP, Gorges - simple to use and not a lot of stupid stuff loaded into it.

  4. Sorry things are not improving for you as quickly as you would like. Sigh... It does get harder when you get older. Persistence and patience (but you know that), will win the day.

I really love physical therapists - one in particular kept me away from a knee replacement. But when they are very young, they just don't understand at all what it is like to live with diminished capacity every day of your life. Knees just don't work, and I HATE that I have diminished response time. But the alternative to all that is just not worth thinking about ;->

Wishing you well in your recovery. Love the pics and the funnies!! And the STEAM!!!

    1. Ugh - Knees! Had surgery back in '82 on my left one - It's starting to talk to me more often lately! LOL! Don't want to go through that again!
Glad you enjoy the pics and the funnies and we all just LOVE the steam! :o)

  5. Pictures! And not those photos where you have to put your head under the black cloak, and ask everybody to stand still for ten minutes. That is what the younger folk think when I start talking about photography when I was young.
And he could have brought Allen's head, or Torxs head.
    That is one big egg!

  6. Hooray!! Pictures!! - and sucha egg! Sucha lasagne!

I hate Win10 a lot too! But it has done something right from my view...
...My digital camera is a 2003 Dimage Z1. It's video recordings are Quick-Time, an Apple file extension that had to be converted to a Windows extension to be played in Windows. I used to upload the video I made to my YouTube account, and then download from there to my Windows files. Sheesh! I got so I didn't want to make videos with it.

Hubby has been doing an engine swap in his 1988 Toyota Celica, and he just fired it up yesterday..and I took videos of the starting up event.

Long story shorter - when I downloaded the videos from the memory card to Win10 files, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the file extension was .MOV - instead of Quick-Time, without my having to do a thing.

I still hate Win10, but at least it did something good for me!

    1. So glad you found something good about it, Barb! I'm just too dang grumpy right now to find it useful! Maybe once I get used to it and get rid of all the nonsense things, I'll like it. (I really don't have a choice!) LOL! :o)
