All washed out and disinfected!
The day wasn't as warm as the weatherman said it was going to be, so Hubby used the leaf blower to help the inside dry a little faster:

The rest came over to inspect the pile, too. Sorry gang - only poopsies in there!
Had to lock the hatch door to keep them out while the inside was drying:
Poultry dust was sprinkled in the nest boxes before fresh straw and hay were put down - don't want or need mites to bite them.

Charlie was upset - he had to make a nest for his girls again. He hates for the coop to be disrupted:
I do this every six months - the deep cleaning, that is.
Regular cleaning is just a given.
I'm glad that is over! What used to take only a few hours now takes ALL day.
It really is a lot of work, but having them around is worth it!
