  3. Another note... I always wondered what was meant by 'by your lack of kind' in the lyrics, but I just read somewhere that it MIGHT, in fact, mean 'coin', where it is pronounced kine in Irish brogue (and in Scottish brogue as well, as I can hear my father saying kine, for coin.)

    We'll watch one of her movies tonight in her honor, and lift a glass to her wonderful self. Blessed we are, to have had her among us.

    1. The old Irish love songs are so sad and haunting. My paternal Grandmother was Irish. (She was one feisty little lady, too!) I watched "The Quiet Man" the other day - just love that movie. :o)
