Whew!!!

Boy, was it ever hot yesterday!

This was the temp at 4PM:

 But it wasn't as hot as those darn chili peppers!

 I kept the gang in the run and the pen because there are shade trees covering it for most of the day. I poured gallons and gallons of water in there to try to cool them down.  Poor Shirley is having a hard time with the heat. She slept most of the day on top of wet straw.
 

 I did let them out around 7 PM just to look for bugs.

 Maude must have heard a cricket in the poopie bin:

 They didn't wander far and went back into the pen by themselves.

 

Today is supposed to be even hotter, but so glad we don't live in a city - that's going to be brutal!
