When you think of a state's capital, you usually envision towering, modern skyscrapers.....
... and huge, imposing stone buildings:
But the best parts of any city are in the older sections:
Look at this one! A very slim building flanked by two larger ones. Perhaps at one time it was just an alleyway.
This one was quite interesting. Notice the apartment above the garages:
I love the three rooms at the top:
These two would be perfectly placed in New Orleans!
Notice that even though they are all connected, the colors of the roof line matches each house:
The flower boxes on the middle house adds a nice touch!
The best gems are found on the side streets away from the downtown area:
Wonder if the people even notice.....
