ReplyDeleteIt amazes me that they try to 'teach art' in school. Artists are born, not taught. Of course natural talent can be enhanced by learning different techniques, but without that internal 'spark', there is no art.
The trouble with so much 'public sculpture'. Well, as Heinlein said "A state supported artist is an incompetent whore." Yeah for folks that 'put it out there'. Let the public decide and pay only when they agree.
