Easy corn on the cob!

Corn is overflowing in our neck of the woods! This video gives you the easiest, fastest way to get it onto your plate!

It really, really works! I've been doing this for a long time, too. No more boiling water and messy silk to deal with!

Just remember, that ear of corn is going to be very hot when you take it out of the microwave. Use  two pot holders!

However in the South we get out corn from a jar. Listen to lyrics to "Rocky Top".

  3. Corn on the cob is the only way to eat corn. I usually just strip the husks and silk in one pull per side. Very little silk left to deal with. Snap off the stalk end and cut about an inch off the top. Microwave in a bowl with a little water to steam it and covered with plastic wrap for 7 minutes. Ready to eat. Yummmm.

I usually nibble off the raw corn off the cut off end. So tender and juicy.

    1. So many ways to eat it - my one son like it grilled; the other one likes it boiled. Anyway you make it, it's always delicious! :o)
