For the love of steam
Ever wonder how those wonderful trains at Disneyland came to be?
Walt loved steam engines and his ideas just grew and grew!
Sit back and learn the real story....
:o)
Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
That was fascinating... and I went and looked at other Toy Man videos... there is some great stuff there. Thanks for showing this!
ReplyDeleteYour're welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video, Carol!! :o)
DeleteWhat a fantastic video. I did not know much much about the railroad at Disneyland but have been on the one at Disney World in Orlando. They are Baldwin 3 ft. narrow gauge locomotives found in Mexico. I was talking with one go the mechanics at Tweetsie in Blowing Rock, NC and he told me he had been to
ReplyDeleteDisney World to work on them.
Have never been to Disney, but I've watched quite a few videos of the parks - they seem to be a lot of fun! I'd ride that train a lot, that's fer sure!
DeleteYou did it to me again! I viewed the terrific railroad at Disney video and then got caught up with the other Toy Man videos and even subscribed. I was "gone" about 2 hours. I love that guy. Thanks for another decent distraction from this hateful world. These wholesome distractions are getting harder to find and should be cherished.
ReplyDeleteHeh-heh! I will not tell you how many of his videos I've watched..... :o)
