Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....

Please....
...... say a prayer for our families and friends in Florida.
We cannot imagine the horrors they will have to endure.
Thank you Rev. Paul! Have family in Melbourne and good friends in Port St. Luci, Fort Meyers & Miami. Heard from Terry yesterday - nothing since. I'm worried.
Hope an pray that my family makes it through this. They are all directly in the path of this storm. I am down here on the other side of the world, Australia, and can't do anything but watch the path of this monster. Thank goodness for the interwebb. It will be days before the full horror is known.
We have friends in Jacksonville and De Land. Prayers in progress.
