But in the afternoon I let them out just to get some exercise. After they wandered around for a bit, I gave them their favorite treat: spaghetti!

The humidity takes a lot out of them, so I make sure they have mud puddles to scratch in and plenty of fresh water to drink.
Spaghetti? The flock has an Italian heritage?

DeleteGlad to see you are doing puddles! It is in the high 90's and humid here also. My girls run for the hose to make puddles as soon as they see me coming home after work!

It's funny - they don't like the rain, but love to scratch in the muddy puddles - at least their feet get cooled off!
