KING CROONERS
Group DooWop on the famous EXCELLO-blues-label!There were so many R&B and blues artists that managed to cut records for Excello, it's easy to overlook all the great groups they had too. But that's what we're correcting with the King Crooners.
They only cut two singles for the label and this was the first of them in 1959. The group were also known as Little Rico & The King Krooners and were a straight up doo-wop group in the best tradition with a thumping bass singer, a solid tenor lead and great beat.
