Another very windy day yesterday! Had to chase them all out of the pen so all the poopsies could be cleaned out. Four chickens can sure make a heck of a mess! Sometimes I wonder if I should really get more hens. It will mean more work, but I do enjoy having them around. I dunno - Spring, Summer and Fall are easy to deal with. Winter is not.
Hubby thinks the four are enough for me to take care of. Lucy is getting older and is cranky sometimes. Charlie doesn't even bother with her anymore. And he hasn't slowed down one bit!
He needs more hens. Poor Laverne and Shirley are worn out!
Guess I just talked myself into getting more.......
