Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....

It was .....
..... chilly, wet and yucky yesterday:

It was such a miserable day - I made them spaghetti!
Our local weather guru has snow in his forecast - I hope he is wrong!
We had lots of wet snow, followed by heavy rains, followed by more snow on Monday. Then it turned cold, with a forecast of sun for the next 10 days. So, naturally, we then had a dense fog advisory until yesterday. Today, they promise, we'll have sunshine.
Yeah, right. Meanwhile, it's 18°, going down to 1° tonight.
Had just enough to cover the deck and grass, Rev. Paul. I just know that we're a gonna get a lot more this Winter! Do not want to see 1° for a long, long time! Keep warm and snugly! :o)
