.... yesterday:
Had rain and the pen and the run were a soggy, poopie mess:
Let the gang out so I could clean it:
They ran to the garden to look for any leftover goodies:
Got everything clean with lots and lots of fresh hay:
Even did the coop!
This is what is left of the kitten's new toy:
It sure is cute, BUT makes a mess!!!!
Hubby already loves it though!

When you showed the photos of the pen, my mind supplied an image from old prison movies and then I pictured your chickens banging tiny tin cups against the chain link mesh.
