Trees 'n roots

I love to look at trees and feel the different textures of their bark. The next time you are out for a walk, slow down and just notice how each tree is different. It's not as silly as it sounds. Nature is amazing!

  1. Some truly interesting stuff there! In case you're wondering, the second photo is of a tree that sprouted from a stump, and then the stump rotted away, leaving a partial circle of live wood.

    1. Thanks for the info on the second picture, Gorges - I have never seen one like that! The last one is a tree on our place.
