Sneaky Chickenmom

Oscar, Ethel and Lucy get treats placed in the run to keep them busy.

I tip-toe up to the coop and close the ramp door, lift up the nest box lid and see the two eggs where they should be.

Nina has left her nest and is in the corner. Guess she wants to walk around a bit. She starts squawking, so I close the lid, but prop it up with a little stick so I can still see inside. (and she can't see me).

Now picture this: an old lady, sipping coffee, sitting on the ground and peering into the nest boxes of a chicken coop.......

Hubby is shaking his head. Again.

Think someone 'needs to get a life' ??????
