    1. Feathers falling out, feathers growing in and the girls pulling out every one they see!

  2. I read in some chicken forum that they peck each others feathers out because they are lacking in protein and if you feed them meat every 3 days or so they will stop the pecking. Don't know how true that is, but might be worth a try...

    1. They do get meat every day - pork chops, chicken (horrors!) and mealy worms. This is the first time the molting has gone back to Charlie's ears! The new feathers look like tiny paintbrushes!! LOL!
