A country morning

City folks can never start their day like this! (make sure the speakers are on!) I like nothing better than sitting out on the deck with my coffee watching the world wake up. It's a special time just for me!

The light is still on in the kitchen:

A little while later, the turkeys came through.

The babies are getting big now!

There is always something to enjoy in Coopville.....

Lots and lots of boids .....

The sound of wind chimes on a  breezy day...

And of course ... the gang:

:o)

  1. Another Charlie wearing blue pants as been posted He's a Black Orpington and super happy in his duds.
Other people have been posting things with Chooks. (check the usual suspects) Great, they are so special.

  3. Wild turkeys! I've always wanted to hunt them; we only have marginal populations of them in Alberta and they are on a draw. Do they interact with The Gang at all?

    1. We have lots of' em! They walk by the pen and the girls just look. Charlie does his stupid little 'barks', but the toikeys ignore him. The gang doesn't bother any little birds that fly in the pen looking for food, though.

  5. What a lovely way to start a day with the early morning sights and sounds. I'm jealous. I was awakened this morning by the sound of the street sweeper thundering past.
Love the chicken in the blue knickers!

    1. I even sit out there in the Winter. After a snowstorm it's wonderful - cold, but wonderful!
