... but not pouring - just a heavy enough misting to get you wet quickly.
I let the little darlings out just long enough to get rid of the mud from inside the pen. Needless to say, it WAS stinky - very, very stinky. And slippery.
When they saw me putting in the fresh dry hay, they all walked back by themselves. Sometimes those chickens can be pretty smart when they want to be!
