... Wind chill warning remains in effect until 1 PM EST Sunday... 

* locations... the Poconos and Sussex County of far northwestern 
  New Jersey. 

* Wind chill values... as low as 20 to 30 degrees below zero.

* Winds... northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Impacts... wind chill values reaching dangerous levels. The
  combination of very low wind chills and frigid air temperatures
  have the potential to result in frozen pipes...  frostbite and
  hypothermia.

Precautionary/preparedness actions... 

A wind chill warning means the combination of very cold air and
strong winds will create dangerously low wind chill values. This
will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia or death if
precautions are not taken.

    1. You can say that again, Gorges! Put the gang in for the night a half hour ago and it was down to 2 degrees!

    2. Keep an eye on their combs...one froze on one of my hens one winter. It turned black and fell off, but dang if she didn't grow another one!

    3. The girls are ok so far but Charlie has some on his crown - I'm more worried about his bare neck. He's scrunching down trying to keep it covered!
