Sigh.....

One of new hens died the other day. I tried to save her but she was just so sick. Two of the other new ones seem to be getting better. Time will tell. Wilma and Louise are just as feisty as ever!

Benji is getting bigger but is still terrified of the girls.

He is just so sweet - loves to be held and petted!

Gypsy moths are making a comeback around here again:

Some neat clouds from the other day:

Hubby's new toy - can't start too early to prepare for Winter!

  1. When you think about it, the new snow thrower is really a water pump.
We spray all the parts that snow touches with this, and it cuts down the clumping. The home supply stores have it.

We also spray the snow shovels and the snow slides off pretty well.
If the thrower doesn't have drift cutters, consider adding them or making a pair. You rarely need the drift cutters, but when you do need them they are really useful.

I don't know the real name of those clouds, we call them beach sand clouds.

    1. Hubby does use it, John! He said the snowblower has skids on it. Our last one didn't and it was too had to operate in the deep snow.
