This dairy farm is just a mile down the road from our house!

  4. Baby animals... I just love calves and lambs. When they grow up, not so much. Milked way too many cows (we had 50 freshened cows in the spring and we milked BY HAND) and had to help 'dip' way too many sheep to spend much time thinking about them. But the babies.... Joy! Oh, and the cattle and sheep dogs... May have been working animals but they were my pets!

    1. Know what you mean about the babies! Went to Tractor Supply today and ALMOST bought home new chicks... So, so tempted..... They were peeping "Chickenmom? Chickenmom!"
In high school I won a blue ribbon for milking cows faster than the FFA guys at the county fair!
