Reproduction
The Manakin species have spectacular lek rituals where the male does an elaborate dance making buzzing, snapping, and other sounds with their wings to impress the female Manakin. Nest building and incubation lasts 18-21 days, and the female takes care of the young alone because Manakins do not form stable pairs. The normal clutch is two eggs.
