Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....

Oh, deer!
There were two bucks with them, but they were back behind the bushes.
Going to be interesting around here in a few months!
This is only a small herd, Rev. Paul. We have several here. They come through at different times of the day and night. The fawns are just adorable, but they grow up to know where the food is. People around here feed them, but we don't as they cause too much damage to plants and trees.
Don't often see that many all in one place, in most areas. Thanks for sharing!
