Thank you...

.... so, so much for your kind comments and E-mails.  Still so hard to believe.  Hubby is taking it hard - they had a little rivalry going each day to see who would be up and out first to start their tractors!
We are going to miss him so much!

Had to go into Newton to get some supplies and I took the camera along:

The leaves are turning very early this year:

Pumpkins!

I guess you are in good hand with Midas, too!

Ragweed - UGH!!!!

This will make BW jealous!

Sweet, delicious Joisey corn!

Back to Coopville. Looking across the road. It rained on and off all day long.

What is left of Irma.
Thankfully family and friends in Florida are OK!

I know you all missed the gang - Charlie is getting new neck feathers!

:o)

Again, Thank you!

  1. Very sorry to hear about your loss but we are glad you are back in action. Hugs to your hubby. Men take things hard and keep it inside.

    1. Thanks, Granny. He's lost a lot of friends, but his one really hurts. They had a lot in common.

  2. Sorry for your loss. We have more all the time. BTW, ragweed doesn't have a showy bloom, but goldenrod does. It often gets blamed for the effects of the ragweed.

    1. Thank you, Gorges. Too many it seems. Appreciate the correction - it's been a horrible allergy season. Sniffles and watery eyes all the time!

  3. So sorry for the loss of your hubby's good friend. It's hard when it's someone that feels like family.

Cooler weather, leaves are turning color, and the acorns are plentiful here in N Calif. Signs of an early winter. Must remember to consult my Old Farmer's Almanac...

    1. Thanks, Brig - still like an opened wound. Even the almanac came out early this year - picked up my copy in August!
