Charlie's wattle

The frost bitten part of Charlie's wattle is just hanging on by only a little bit of skin. Maybe it will fall off completely tomorrow.....




He keeps shaking his head and scratching at it with his foot. I don't think it hurts him, it's just darn annoying. Poor Charlie!

    It's probably just itching, which is a sign of recovery. Good luck Charlie!

      There is a lot of scar tissue around it - I hope it won't leave a hole. He won't let me pick him up so I can't see if there is a lot of damage. The pic was taken with the zoom lens.
