Does anyone know what this thing is? It growing in the green bean container:
Probably a weed. I have NO problem growing them!
It's not a sunflower like this one:
The pineapple top that I planted has new growth in the center.
At least I didn't kill it yet!
Even with all the rain, the flowers are still pretty!
Treat time for the gang!
They love cooked chop meat!
Charlie doesn't like it if I throw it in the pen - he wants to be hand fed the goodies!

DeleteThey used to grow in our gardens and cattle pens. I always considered them worthless, but Spearwolf's link says it's edible and is good for cordage.
