The whole inside of it was rotten:
Plenty of holes in it too:
This went right through so you could see out the other side:

Mostly about my backyard chickens. (Boring, I know), but there are a lot of us out here. Mine are only kept as pampered pets. I could eat a neighbor's chicken, but not MINE. There may be a comment on current events only if I get riled up enough. And there will always be a cartoon or a joke to cheer us. I promise to try my very best to respond to comments. Now I have to figure out how this blogger thingy works....
A lot of folks don't understand that some trees need to come down.
ReplyDeleteHubby took another one down today - I'll post it on Friday. Better he takes them down that a storm does!
DeleteYIKES!! Hey! We've got a big old cottonwood you can have.
ReplyDeleteEvery spring we curse the thing for the blowing "cotton" that goes everywhere!
Termites! AARRGGHH!!
Oh, I love cottonwood trees! They are just sooooo beautiful - wish we had one, even with all the fluff they shed!
DeleteWell, I'd send you ours if I could. The "fluff" makes a mess of everyone's yards and gardens when it lets loose of it in June.
ReplyDeleteGonna try to get it gone before next spring.
It's huge, but you can come 'n get it if you want. :-D
