My lumberjack!

Hubby decided to take down ANOTHER tree!

A lot of deadd branches kept falling off of it:

I keep telling him "No more!"  But he doesn't listen....... (sigh)

It wasn't a fat tree, but it was tall:

The stump will be gone in a few days and grass will be planted.

:o)

  1. ...I always cringe when I hear a tree go down.
But, hey! We've got one that I wish would get gone, so I understand the eed to do it sometimes.

  3. It's wonderful you have your own personal timber faller and a good one from the looks of it.
We have about three more trees that need to come out, and hopefully that will be it. I try to plant two for every one I take out (healthy natives in a better location).

    1. That's a wonderful idea, Brig! I would love to have some birch or pines.

  4. I love Coopville. For me it's like going home.

My dad fancied himself a lumberjack and he did alright for the most part...but one day an uncooperative tree came down on our fenced chicken run - and missed the hen house by a couple feet. Luckily all my birds were in the house at the time.

Congrats to CF!!! Looks like he brought that one down right on the numbers!!!

    1. Hubby is pretty good at bringing them down - only a few have been hung up. We don't waste any of it - all firewood! And anytime you are in Joisey, stop in!
